As for general information about these donations, the story goes like this... Whenever there is a sale in my Etsy shop I will knit a hat and donate it to my local hospital in the purchasers honor. I really feel called to knitting baby hats probably because used to work with kids and really have a soft spot for babies (but who the heck doesn't, right?). I will in time expand to other sizes that I imagine would be chemo caps most likely.
Because it seems a little silly that I hop over to the hospital every couple of days to drop off one hat here and there. So I intend to collect them up and take them for donation all at once each month. Perhaps the first or last day of the month. At that point I have every intention of taking photos of the hats and if I can get some photos of the recipients. This is my first time doing something like this so I'll have to let your learn along with me.
Each hat will include a little card that will include some info about the hat and if you would like a little note from the purchaser as well. Purchasers will be contacted about anything they might like to add.
